Recent Transactions

  • Represented a developer in the acquisition and development of a large parcel in Downtown Jamaica for the construction of a Hotel.  The building will be approx 40,000 square feet, with an approx overall cost of over $25,000,000.00.
  • Represented an investor in the acquisition of a package of ten (10) two and three family homes which were purchased for speculation.  The total acquisition cost over $3,000,000.00 and has an after renovation value of over $7,000,000.00.  Our firm obtained a Private Loan for the investor for 90% of the acquisition cost and 100% of the repair cost.
  • Represented an investor that purchased a commercial property in Long Island City for the purpose of developing into a large scale retail and commercial building consisting of approximately 150,000 square feet.  The property was a Brownfield Site and required over $4,000,000.00 in remediation costs.  Assisted the investor in navigating the environmental issues.
  • Represented a developer of several mixed-use and hotel properties in the acquisition and financing of the development projects.
  • Represented an investor in the Purchase of defaulted mortgages.
  • Represent a developer in a joint venture between developer and property owner for development of a 10,000 square foot residential building.  This transaction included purchasing air rights from adjacent property.
  • Represent three groups of investors, each of which wished to acquire a tenant-in-common interest in a $20 million commercial property in lower Manhattan to effectuate 1031 tax-deferred exchanges (including a reverse exchange). We prepared the tenants-in-common agreement and handled the 1031 transaction and the loan transaction.
  • Represented the developer of a 21,000 square foot commercial building on Roosevelt Avenue in Corona, which was leased to a chain gym tenant and the New York City School Construction Authority.  This was a complex transaction involving multiple parcels and problematic parties in interest.
  • Represented the developer of an 87 unit condominium project in Corona, Queens.  Assisted all aspects of the transaction, development, financing, marketing and sales of the project.
  • Represented the developer of an 58 unit condominium project in Elmhurst, Queens.  Assisted all aspects of the transaction, development, financing, marketing and sales of the project.
